Angola's President set for landslide win

Issued on:

Angola's electoral commission says final results from last week's elections will be released by the end of the week. The country's long-serving president Jose Eduardo dos Santos and his MPLA party are set to score a landslide win. Dos Santos, who has been in power for 33 years, has been credited for the country's development after a 27 year civil war. RFI speaks to Markus Weimer, an Angola specialist at Chatham House in London.
