Kibera residents oppose link road construction, part 2

A major new link road is planned for the Kenyan capital Nairobi. The five-kilometer route will cut across the city’s biggest slum, Kibera, and is supposed to ease traffic congestion.

Construction began two years ago, but is now blocked because of objections. People in Kibera are worried about being evicted.

Laure Broulard reports on the second of two legal cases being brought against the project.
