Japanese auto worker kills one, injures 10 in attack
An angry auto worker at a Mazda plant in Japan drove a car into a crowd of employees, killing one and injuring 10 before he was stopped and arrested, Japanese police said on Tuesday.

Toshiaki Hijiki, 42, arrived at the main Mazda plant in Hiroshima, and "drove a Mazda Familia car into the plant and hit about 10 people," said a police spokesman.
Hijiki fled the scene, but was arrested later for attempted murder and for violating a sword and firearms law. He was carrying a knife with him when he attacked the employees.
He told police he had been a temporary worker at the main Mazda plant in Hiroshima, but had been laid off two months ago, according to Jiji press wire service.
"I was fired at Mazda and I was irritated," he told the wire service.
