Andrew Chin, a.k.a. Brushy One-String is a Jamaican musician who, as the name would suggest, plays a guitar with just one string. After decades struggling to make ends meet he’s finally become a cult figure thanks to internet, charming the crowds with his unique style and simple but heartfelt songs. Touring Europe this summer with his latest album Destiny, RFI caught up with him in St Nazaire on the west coast of France where he shared his extraordinary story. It all began with a dream.
