Man found asleep in stopped car on Paris ringroad
Paris police were astonished to find a car stopped in the middle of Paris’s busy ringroad and its driver slumped asleep over the steering wheel on Tuesday night. The 53-year-old man was found to be way over the alcohol limit and placed in detention.

Police found the stationary car on the orbital road, the périphérique, at 1.30am and took its driver in for questioning.
He proved to be so drunk he could not even blow into the breathalyser.
A blood test showed 3.12 grammes of alcohol per litre.
The man had already been found guilty of drunk driving five times. In 2007 he was put on trial for injuring someone in an accident and trying to flee the scene of the crime, according to police.
