Djokovic convinces, Federer doesn't, Radwanska heads for the exit

Five things we learned from day six.

  • Roger Federer is not looking convincing. After dropping a set to the unheralded German Tobias Kamke in round two, the Swiss third seed again dropped a set in round three. Still he's into the last 16.

  • Novak Djokovic is looking convincing. Three matches, three victories in straight sets.
  • It's tough being one of the main seeds. The Polish third seed Agnieszks Radwanska probably thought she should have been showed some respect by Svetlana Kuznetsov. The Russian 26th seed respectfully showed her the exit door.
  • Ana Ivanovic needs to calm down. The 2008 champion breezed through the first set in her third round match against the Italian Sara Errani. But during the second set the Serb kept hitting wild shots and lost the plot. The 2012 tropy won't be adorning her mantelpiece this year.
  • Six days of brilliant sunshine and uninterrupted play gives the tournament a relaxed feel. Everything is tickety boo. Loads of rain might just add an edge to the proceedings.
